Knotweed Workshop, 6-7:30 p.m., Cloquet Public Library. Knotweed or bamboo is an invasive plant that spreads rapidly. It can damage property including lakes and stream corridors. Experts from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and the Duluth Collaborative Invasive Species Management Area will teach attendees how to identify knotweed, map it and slow its spread. The fun, informative presentation will address the importance of proper daily brushing, flossing and good nutrition. Every child will receive a complimentary toothbrush kit that includes a bag, water bottle, toothbrush, toothpaste, tooth brushing timer, floss and stickers.
