COMMERCE, Calif. – Hollywood Bed Frame Co. has expanded its executive management team with two key appointments.
Industry veteran Matt Anderson has been named chief commercial officer, and Chol Kim has been appointed chief operating officer.
In his new role, Anderson will manage Hollywood Bed’s global retail, wholesale and e-commerce hospitality and contract segment. He will lead the company’s teams to drive revenue and develop new sales and marketing strategies.
“Matt brings an impressive background in marketing and sales leadership along with a strong track record of thought leadership in the bedding industry,” said Jason Harrow, CEO. “His unique perspective will be extremely valuable to our ongoing efforts to deliver innovation to the industry segments we serve and connect customers to Hollywood’s products and business solutions.”
Anderson brings nearly three decades of mattress industry experience to the new role. Most recently he was chief commercial officer of Zonkd, a global manufacturer of covers for the home furnishings industry. In addition, he spent 19 years in several management roles, including at Serta Simmons Bedding and Elite Comfort Solutions.
“I am excited to join the Hollywood team and return to working with retailers to create value-added programs to enhance the lives of our end consumers,” Anderson said. “The recently completed acquisition and expansion of our North Carolina facility enables Hollywood to offer seamless just-in-time service to our customers throughout North America. The new products we will be launching soon will re-position the company and offer innovation and significant growth potential for our retail and hospitality partners.”
In the role of chief operating officer, Kim assumes leadership of operations, purchasing and strategic initiatives for the company. He is responsible for the executing the operational performance and the transforming the company culture and vision.

Kim has more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles in various manufacturing segments with more than eight years of experience leading companies at the executive level. Prior to joining Hollywood, Kim was senior vice president of operations at Popcornopolis where he was responsible for all operational departments. Prior to Popcornopolis, Kim was vice president of operations at Sweet Harvest Foods and Natural American Foods. Kim has also held various leadership roles including plant manager for the Coca-Cola Co. and was plant manager and director of operations for Coca-Cola Enterprises in Maryland Heights, Mo.
