News release – PLANTATION, Fla. – GhostBed, the leading online mattress retailer and manufacturer of boxed beds, will debut its new Venus Williams Collection at the upcoming Winter Las Vegas Market. Designed in collaboration with the tennis superstar, the collection was created to maximize recovery and performance through enhanced cooling technologies and the new Venus FIT layer.
Featured in each mattress within the collection, GhostBed’s new and first of its kind, Venus FIT (far infrared technology) layer, is a heat-activated technology that absorbs body temperature to stimulate blood vessels. Over time, the Venus FIT layer will increase blood flow and decrease blood pressure allowing more oxygen to circulate through the sleeper’s body throughout the night.

The new line includes six models catering to the direct-to-consumer and wholesale audiences. The direct-to-consumer model, the 12-inch Legendmodel, feature the Venus FIT layer combined with a soy-based bio foam layer and as a Hybrid with individually wrapped springs for a more responsive feel or as an all-foam model offering customized support. The Legend mattresses are available for purchase through GhostBed.com.
“When we first began designing this collection, I knew I wanted to highlight the importance of rejuvenation through a healthy night’s sleep and how it impacts daily performance,” said Williams. “We knew we had to use only the best, highest-quality materials in order to create a product that would really make a difference in someone’s life. The wholesale offerings will include four models, available in a 13-inch and a 14-inch profile, in either a Hybrid or all-foam design. Each wholesale mattress includes the proprietary and exclusive Venus FIT layer followed by a specialized Ghost transition layer, which provides the ideal balance of pressure relief and support. With a focus on performance and recovery, these mattresses set themselves apart from all others because of the health benefits designed by and for a world class athlete. Additionally, the new Venus Williams Collection by GhostBed has an eco-friendly concern for our environment. Each mattress features a sustainable ultra-cooling cover that consists of 25% recycled plastic bottles The new collectionis set to retail from $1,799-$2,999 in queen.
Aesthetically, GhostBed tapped into William’s fashion and interior design background to produce a product that will stand out on a retail showroom floor. The colors, sustainable fabrics, ticking and internal components were each handpicked by Williams to match her keen sense of style mixing high fashion and performance.
In addition to the collection, GhostBed has an extensive marketing and social media plan in place to expose the new line up to the entire sleeping public. The company will support early retail adopters of the line with customized marketing material and content. This includes POP material featuring sleep tips from Williams that focus on how to “Ace their Sleep” and wake up rested, rejuvenated and ready to perform at the “top of their game.”
